It is located in the center of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the Drama Theater &quot;Ivan Radoev&quot;. The existing building dates from 1834. It is the oldest preserved church in the city and the only monument in Pleven from the Bulgarian revival of national importance. The building is dug into the ground about two meters, and its bell tower is located in a separate building, built not far from the central entrance of the temple in 1883. The bell in it was a gift from a Finnish
